La International swim across Lake Geneva is one of the region's most emblematic sporting events. Visit 19 July 2025swimmers from all over the world will be competing against 13 km crossing between Lausanne (Switzerland) and Évian-les-Bains (France).

📍 A 13 km Mythical Route swimming

Participants will depart from Lausanneto reach the French shore at Évian-les-Bains. This crossing requires a exceptional endurancebecause the conditions can be unpredictable :

✔️ Water temperature between 18 and 22°C
✔️ Currents and waves which can complicate progress
✔️ Logistic support with accompanying boats and safety buoys

It's a challenge both physical and mental !

⚠️ Notice to Boat Operators: Regulated Traffic on Lake Geneva

Le 19 July 2025Lake Geneva will play host to hundreds of swimmers. If you are sailing in sailboat, motorboat or rowboatbe extremely vigilant between Lausanne and Evian.

Recommendations for Boats

⚠️ Avoid the race zone between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m.
⚠️ Reduce your speed and keep an eye on the warning buoys
⚠️ Watch out for kayaks and following boats swimmers

The aim is to guarantee a safe crossing for participants and boaters.
